RECRUITMENT

Formal Recruitment at William & Mary is a two weekend process run by the Panhellenic Council. Recruitment takes place in early September, and allows all Potential New Members (PNMs) the opportunity to find their perfect match with a sorority.  During the first round, PNMs are introduced to all ten sororities via Open House.  From there, the rounds are invitational.  Philanthropy Day informs the PNM of each sorority's philanthropic mission. Ours is "Building Strong Girls", a mission which we support through Girls on the Run.  The next event is Sisterhood Day, where PNMs are invited to houses to see sisterhoods in action. The final night is Preference Night, where PNMs join their remaining houses for a night unique to the sorority. Gamma Phi's Preference Night features a special ceremony and shows PNMs why being a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority is so special.

Gamma Phi Beta looks forward to welcoming all PNMs into our house, and we cannot wait to meet you! We urge you to consider joining sorority life.

As of 2021, anyone is welcome to recommend a PNM for membership regardless of the recommender's relationship to Gamma Phi Beta.
